Gifts can be made any time of the year

“Friends for the Future” Annual Fund Drive

Blessed are the Givers…Grateful are the Receivers…

Blessed are the givers, grateful are the receivers is the theme of this years Friends for the Future Campaign. Blessed are those that not only give of their Treasure but of their Time and Talent as well. Blessed are those that take a moment and pray for Norwalk Catholic School/St. Paul High School. Grateful are the students, faculty, staff, family, and friends of the Norwalk Catholic School community for all that we receive.

The Annual Fund was established in 1991 to build a solid foundation of committed supporters. Their vision for this foundation was to build a strong annual fund campaign that would offer our community many ways to get involved and contribute to the success of our Catholic schools.

Tuition Assistance

Reverend Arch Thomas, former superintendent of the Toledo Diocese, said in a speech, “How much good will go undone if we fail to educate one child in Catholic education?” It is our mission to assure that no child is denied this education because of financial circumstances. Until the late 1960's, there was no tuition charged at the Norwalk Catholic Schools. In the early 1970's, a book fee was charged and then a small tuition. In the early 1980's tuition was approximately $200 at the elementary schools and $350 at the high school. Today, high school tuition is $3,050. A gift made to support a student's Catholic education, regardless of the financial burdens of the family, is the greatest gift of all. Do you know which child will leave our schools and transform the world?

The Norwalk Catholic Schools Endowment Fund

The Norwalk Catholic Schools Endowment Fund was established in 1999. Over the years, the endowment has grown through the Legacy Grows campaign, personal visits, and annual fund donations. Today the endowment fund has grown to $3.2 million. The earnings from the Endowment Fund are distributed to Norwalk Catholic Schools/St. Paul High School to enhance teachers' salaries. These earnings assist in paying our teachers a competitive wage. Attention to just wages for parochial school teachers has been a goal of the Endowment.
